Emily Small grew up in Newport, RI training at The Academy of Newport Contemporary Ballet. She holds a BFA in Dance and BS in Public Health from University of Massachusetts Amherst (2019). She’s had the pleasure of performing works by David Dorfman, Emily Duggins Ehling, Thomas Vacanti, Barbara Diewald, Paul Dennis, Betsi Graves, Jackie Nowicki, Johnnie Cruise Mercer, Staycee Pearl, Ted Thomas and Francis Ortiz.

 

After graduation, Emily danced as a Trainee with Newport Contemporary Ballet and The Big Muddy Dance Company. She is currently performing with Resilience Dance Company, Ballet 314, and Collective Motion.
